Help me to provide a safety net for veterans and their families through SALUTE INC.
My dad served in the United States Marine Corps for over twenty years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2008, after 24 years in. Having a role model who values selfless service, integrity, and loyalty above all else drove to me join the University of Notre Dame’s Army ROTC Program myself. From this, it is easy to see that military service is a tradition that I strongly appreciate and admire.
So, the cause that SALUTE INC. champions hits close to home. SALUTE INC. works to ensure that when veterans leave the military, they do not have to keep fighting. The transition from military to civilian life is a difficult one, especially if a veteran has financial, physical, or mental burdens. SALUTE INC. assists veterans in almost every area of their lives, providing everything from mortgage and car payments to daycare and medical bills.
It is my honor to run my first marathon for an organization that is dedicated to helping those who have dedicated their lives to us! But I cannot do this alone. Friends and family, please consider helping SALUTE and me give veterans the support they deserve! Monetary donations of any amount will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for SALUTE INC.
