To my family and friends,
As most of you know, I have been running countless hours and marathons to raise funds for a non-profit organization, Salute Inc. for several years. Salute, Inc. provides a safety net for veterans and their families.
I am running my 15th Marathon on April 29, 2017 in Nashville. I am very excited to have the honor to run for a cause. It gives all my mileage meaning as well as a purpose. Every year I choose to fund raise to help fulfill Salute's mission: to meet the financial, physical and emotional needs of military service members, veterans and their families. Our Returning Veterans need our help filling in the gaps to make the transition to civilian life. They sometimes wait up to two years to receive their service connection pay. Salute's assistance ranges from paying a Veteran's rent to buying groceries, to paying for car repairs and the list goes on.
I know that there are so many good charities that we all donate to. I am hoping you will choose Salute, Inc. as one of your charities for 2017. Every donation helps make a difference!
