Help us provide a safety net for veterans and their families by keeping a roof over their heads, gas in the car, and food on the table.
This is my 11th Chicago Marathon and I couldn't be more honored than to run in memory Ted Peters, a dear family friend and U.S. Marine.
Ted often told his family that the Marines made him a man. Well "Hoorah" to the Corps because they turned out an awesome specimen! He served from 1958-1962 and obtained the rank of Corporal. Fantastic husband, father and uncle, he followed his heart and his word his entire life. The world is a bit dimmer now that Ted is gone. He was one of the "Good Guys..."
