As my 40th birthday approached July 2019, I realized I had gained a lot of weight back and I had lost my passion for running. Losing 40lbs and regular running has helped me regain my passion. To lose the weight, I set my ultimate goal as to run my 2nd marathon. In October, I made up my mind that I need to set that goal for that ultimate goal and I am going to do the Chicago marathon. Spots for Chicago are highly coveted and can be hard to come by. So I decided to make this marathon more than just about running, and want to help those in need. After careful consideration, I am choosing to support our veterans and their families have put so much on the line for our freedoms. Your donation goes 100% to veterans in need. COVID-19 has made for an interesting situation. I continue to train and veterans continue to have finacial needs. I will run 26.2 miles Oct 11 whether it is on the streets of Chicago or on the streets of Bartlett. Let's give back as a way to say "Thank You". Salute, Inc helps injured veterans financially. Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us provide a financial safety net for injured veterans and their families.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for SALUTE INC
