As an active duty service member, this is a cause near and dear to my heart. SALUTE provides financial support to transitioning and veteran families across the nation. The money you donate will go directly to this cause! I have decided to take on this major physical challenge not for personal glory, but to participate in something greater than myself, to raise awareness to the needs of injured service members, and give back to the military community I am a part of. My goal is to make it to Chicago having exceeded my personal fundraising goals and cross the finish line representing SALUTE and what they are all about!
